To Whom It May Concern:
I have worked for Mike Strand for three years as a Regional Sales Manager. From the hiring process through the end of my employment at StrandWare, Mike was involved in all aspects of the company. Mike was a very “hands-on” owner/manager, who took the time to hire the best people for the job, gave them the confidence to succeed, and showed appreciation for hard work and commitment.
Mike encouraged employees to voice their opinions, concerns, and ideas; through this process he was able to make all employees feel they were a vital and important part of a team-not just another employee. As a member of the StrandWare team, I feel Mike’s motivational style using honest and sincere appreciation accomplished more work, more loyalty, and an exceptionally pleasant working environment.
I can honestly say that if more employers used Mike’s management style, they would find the quality and quantity of the work accomplished to be at a much higher level. Employers like Mike encourage attitudes of employees to be more pleasant and employees willing to put forth an extra effort.

Lois Montgomery
